SAFETY & BOUNDARIES
Support has boundaries.
The Unsaid is a space for listening, reflection, emotional support and personal guidance. It is not an emergency service and is not a replacement for qualified medical or mental-health care.
Urgent situations
If someone may be in immediate danger or needs urgent medical or psychiatric attention, contact local emergency services or qualified professional support immediately.
Support in India
Immediate danger or emergency: Dial 112, India’s pan-India emergency number.
Mental-health support: Call Tele-MANAS at 14416 or 1800-89-14416. It offers government-supported tele-mental-health assistance. This is separate from The Unsaid and is not a substitute for emergency services when there is immediate danger.
Official information: Emergency Response Support System · National Mental Health Programme / Tele-MANAS.
